Crawfish Boil at De Visbar

Got crawfish cravings? Perfect, our next Crawfish Boil is happening every last Sunday of the month. Time to roll up your sleeves and start peeling!

Think long tables, steaming platters piled high with fresh crawfish, a good glass of wine (or two), and above all: eating together the way it’s meant to be.

Our Crawfish Boil is all about good vibes, bold flavors, and unapologetic messiness. No fuss, just crack, peel, dip, and enjoy.

And the best part? This isn’t a one-off. Every last Sunday of the month, we host a Crawfish Boil at De Visbar.

Mark March 29th in your calendar, gather your friends, come hungry & get your crawfish fix!

Why we do this (and why it tastes so good)

It all started small: just a few crawfish in a backyard. But it didn’t take long before it became clear that they could cause a real challenge in Dutch waters. Crawfish can seriously disrupt the ecosystem.

But let’s be honest: they’re also incredibly delicious. And that’s where we saw an opportunity. Why not do something good for the waterways and serve something truly amazing on your plate?

That’s how we got in touch with Craw Fish Farm. What began as a small experiment has grown into tanks full, and millions of crawfish each year. Craw Fish Farm turned a problem into a smart, circular solution and is now the only company in the Netherlands allowed to cook and supply crawfish to restaurants and stores. Locally caught, freshly cooked, and prepared with care.

For you, that means one thing: a festive, flavorful dish on your table. We turn a problem into a celebration, and the only thing you need to do? Roll up your sleeves, peel, and enjoy!
